  5. Care Instruction

    1. Congratulations! Your vehicle is now protected with a reputable premium clear coat protection. Aurora Series Clear Coat is designed to protect your factory paint, and to provide a protective shield against the elements and to keep your vehicle always looking new. To maximize the effects of Aurora Series Clear Coat and to ensure your investment is long lasting, we will discuss a few basic maintenance steps on how to care for your new clear coat. With simple care, your Aurora Series Clear Coat will reward you for years to come!
    2. You are to wash your vehicle by Hand Wash or Touch-less (such as a Foam Gun and a Pressure Washer), and preferably not by Automatic Brush Wash with quality car wash soap with no wax required. Do not wash in the sun to prevent streaking and water spotting and do not use abrasive towels.
    3. The following should be avoided:
      1. Sprinklers or water droplets prone areas - The clear coat can get spots during the and can be costly to remove.
      2. Parking under a shedding tree.
      3. Bird droppings, sap or pollen to sit on the car and bake in the sun.
      4. Washing or abrading the paint
    4. If you notice that your car gets water spots, bird droppings, tree sap etc., immediately remove it following our care instructions.
    5. Keep in mind the coating is soft; be gentle when working on the paint. You should minimise rubbing, (especially with a dry towel) on the coating will ensure its longevity. Dry bird droppings, bugs and tree sap can be dissolved using alcohol type solvents and wiped off with a damp microfiber towel.
    6. Wash from the top down leaving the dirtiest sections for last to avoid cross contamination, and use separate soap and microfiber wash sponge/mitt/towel for wheels to prevent cross contamination. Rinse it off with a pressure washer (optimal) or hose. Dry with clean microfiber towels. Always dry completely after wash and never leave to “air” dry.
    7. Tap water contains minerals that may leave deposits creating water spots. These can be removed with a 50/50 vinegar solution.
    8. Only use quality microfiber towels for best results and avoid aggressive wiping, allowing the material to absorb the water.
    9. Never use aggressive products to polish the coating or remove surface contamination and never use excessive force to remove spots. Bird droppings, tar, sap, etc. should be removed as soon as possible to avoid temporary staining or hardening on the coating.
    10. You are required to diligently send your vehicle for periodical maintenance on a quarterly basis or as and when advised by our care consultant at the workshop or service centre where the application of the Product was performed.
